About EuropeanMartech
EuropeanMartech helps businesses choose European software they can trust. We list marketing tools and the technology a business runs on, from email marketing and analytics to CRM, web hosting and business email, and compare them on the things that decide a purchase: what they cost, what they do well, where they fall short, and who is behind them.
Why this exists
More and more businesses in Europe would rather buy from European companies. Some want their customer data to stay close to home, some want to support the European software industry, and some simply want a supplier that works under the same rules they do.
What they lack is a quick way to find those companies and compare them fairly. The big review sites are built around US software, and most European-alternatives lists stop at a flag and a paragraph. We wanted a place that gives a straight answer: here are the European options, here is what each costs, and here is the one we would pick for you.
What we look for
- A real European company, with its country and owner stated on its own site
- Pricing a small business can read and buy without a sales call
- Honest about the catch: free plan limits, promo terms, renewal prices
- Where your data is stored, when the vendor says so
We also list some non-European products, clearly labelled, when they are a genuine answer for European buyers. Our ranked “European” lists include European companies only.

Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy through them, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. That never decides a ranking. Tools without an affiliate program can and do rank first, and we do not sell positions in our ranked lists.
Who's behind this
EuropeanMartech is published by RJ Digital and run by Joonas Rotko, a Finnish SEO and GEO professional who helps companies and agencies with search marketing. Joonas is a former digital marketing agency co-owner and also runs That Marketing Buddy. He started this site because European businesses had no easy way to find European software they could trust.

How we write
Every ranked list and comparison starts from research: we read the live search results for the topic, the pages that rank for it, and each vendor's own pricing, product and legal pages. Prices are read from the vendor's own pricing page on the date shown on the page.
We use AI tools throughout: to gather and organise that research, and to draft and edit the text. The judgements are ours: which tools make a list, in what order, and what we recommend and why. Joonas Rotko reviews every page before it publishes and is responsible for what it says. Pages are signed “EuropeanMartech” rather than with a personal byline, because a person did not write every word.
Company details, ownership and hosting location come from the vendor's own pages. Where we could not check something, the page says so instead of guessing.
What this is not
Nothing here is legal advice. This site is written by a marketer, not a lawyer. It explains rules in general terms. Whether a given tool is lawful for you depends on your data, your sector, your jurisdiction, and facts we know nothing about. If you are making a decision that carries legal or financial risk, talk to a qualified lawyer or your data protection officer. Do not rely on a directory for that.
Some of it will be out of date. GDPR, Schrems II, and the AI Act all move through case law, regulator guidance, and amendment, and vendors change hosting regions, owners, and sub-processors without announcing it. Every article carries a publication date and every tool listing shows when its compliance details were last checked. Treat both as the date the page was true, not a promise it still is. We make no warranty that any of it is accurate, current, or complete.
