How we reached this
Danish legal entity: Alpaco ApS, named in both the terms of service and the privacy policy, with CVR 44067307 in the site footer, read 2026-09-01. The strongest thing in the documentation is the AI commitment, quoted in full because it is better than most: AI chat history and inputs are "processed ephemerally during your active session and permanently deleted from our active state upon reloading the page", customer campaign data is not used to train public AI models, and "our third-party subprocessors are contractually prohibited from doing so". PARTIAL because the rest is a generic template: Alpaco is established as controller for customer data, service providers are listed only by category ("IT service providers, data storage, hosting and server providers, analytics...") with none named, and no hosting country is stated anywhere. A Subprocessor page is linked from the site footer but could not be retrieved on 2026-09-01, so dpaEvidence stays NOT_LOCATED and hosting stays UNKNOWN. sccInPlace is true on the policy's commitment that transfers out of the EEA are protected "by using standard data protection clauses approved by the European Commission, or the use of binding corporate rules or other legally accepted means". Pricing is demo-only with no published rates.
About Alpaco
Built for the Production Line, Not the One-Off Newsletter
Alpaco is not another drag-and-drop editor. It is aimed at the specific mess that appears once email volume gets serious: a marketer waiting on a designer, a designer waiting on a developer to fix the HTML, and brand consistency quietly eroding across campaigns, flows and content creators.
The Separation of Concerns
The design idea is to split the roles apart so they stop blocking each other. Designers and developers define the templates, the brand rules and the data model once. Marketers then produce campaigns inside those constraints without needing to touch code or crop images, and without being able to break the brand guidelines by accident.
Around that sit the workflow pieces:
- Review and approval flows, including with people outside the company
- Team collaboration on the same campaign in parallel
- Integrations into your existing ESP and data flows, so Alpaco replaces the production step rather than the sending platform
- An MCP integration, which is well ahead of the category
- AI assistance for drafting, with a notable commitment attached
The AI Commitment Is Worth Reading
Most vendors bolt on AI and say nothing about what happens to what you type into it. Alpaco's policy says this:
Alpaco does not persistently store or retain your AI chat history or inputs on our servers; this data is processed ephemerally during your active session and is permanently deleted from our active state upon reloading the page. Furthermore, we do not use your proprietary campaign data, inputs, or generated outputs to train public AI models, and our third-party subprocessors are contractually prohibited from doing so.
Ephemeral processing, no training on customer data, and the prohibition passed down to sub-processors contractually. That is a better answer than most tools in this directory give, and it is the kind of thing worth checking for in any tool you let near campaign copy.
Danish, With Gaps
Published by Alpaco ApS, CVR 44067307, Denmark.
The privacy policy is otherwise a fairly generic template. It establishes Alpaco as controller for the data you give it, commits to Standard Contractual Clauses or binding corporate rules for any transfer out of the EEA, and lists categories of service provider ("IT service providers, data storage, hosting and server providers, analytics...") without naming any of them. The site footer links a Subprocessor page that could not be retrieved.
No hosting country is stated. So this reads PARTIAL, with the AI commitment recorded as the genuinely strong part and the infrastructure question left open.
Pricing is demo-only, with no published rates.
Where It Fits
The nearest comparisons are Stripo and Topol.io as template tooling, though Alpaco is aimed at a bigger team with a real production workflow. Whichever you pick, it sits in front of a sending platform from email marketing rather than replacing one. See email design.

Martech moves fast. Vendors change hosting regions, get acquired, publish a new DPA or rewrite their pricing, and they rarely announce it. We check what we publish and date every compliance review, but some of what you see here will be out of date before we catch it.
