Hosting stated as within the EU on Fedelta Media's own infrastructure. Sub-processors named in the policy: Mollie, Moneybird, Fedelta Media and Cloudflare (incl. Turnstile). PARTIAL rather than COMPLIANT because no customer-facing DPA is published — the policy's "appropriate data-processing agreements apply" refers to its own sub-processors. Schrems II risk MEDIUM and exposure US_CLOUD_ACT because Cloudflare sits in the request path for DNS, proxy and captcha; data at rest is EU. The vendor additionally stated by email that hosting is Hetzner Germany with backups in Helsinki and that there is no non-EU parent; neither is in the published policy, so neither is recorded here as fact.

About GenOverview

AI Overview Tracking From the Netherlands

GenOverview answers one narrow question well: when Google generates an AI Overview for a query in your category, whose pages does it cite?

What It Tracks

  • Domain insights with historical data, so a drop in citations is visible as a trend rather than a surprise
  • Competitor tracking across the topics rivals appear for in AI Overviews
  • Content opportunities, the topics where a competitor is cited and you are not
  • AI search volume, a proprietary estimate of monthly volume for AI Overview topics
  • Email alerts on new appearances and new openings

Where It Fits

Most tools in this category watch the assistants: Peec AI and Rankscale measure how ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini describe a brand. GenOverview stays inside Google's search results and tracks AI Overviews specifically. That is a narrower scope, and it is the right one if AI Overviews are what is eating your organic clicks. Compare the category in European GEO software.

Pricing starts free during the beta (10 domains, no card), then €15/mo Starter, €45/mo Agency and €140/mo Growth, which makes it the cheapest entry point in the category by some distance.

Dutch Ownership, EU Hosting

Published by Fedelta Media, KvK 55262937, VAT NL001127824B28, registered at Jipsingboertangerweg 109, 9551 TP Sellingen. The privacy policy states that data is hosted and processed on servers within the European Union, on Fedelta Media's own infrastructure, and names its sub-processors: Mollie, Moneybird, Fedelta Media and Cloudflare.

Cloudflare is the caveat. It handles DNS, proxying and the Turnstile captcha, which puts a US provider in the request path even though the data at rest sits in the EU. There is also no customer-facing DPA published yet, so the compliance table below says PARTIAL rather than compliant. Neither is unusual for a small vendor, and both are stated here rather than smoothed over.

Google AI Overviews only, so ChatGPT and Perplexity visibility needs another tool
No customer-facing DPA published yet
Cloudflare in the request path puts a US provider in front of EU-hosted data
Small vendor still in beta

GenOverview GDPR & data protection: common questions

Is GenOverview GDPR compliant?

Partly. GenOverview meets some of the requirements, with caveats worth reading before you commit. GenOverview is a European company headquartered in Netherlands, data is hosted within the European Union.

Where does GenOverview store data?

GenOverview states: ""Your data is hosted and processed on servers within the European Union" and "The website and platform are developed and hosted by Fedelta Media on its own infrastructure within the EU" — app.genoverview.com/policy, read 2026-08-18.". Data is hosted within the European Union.

Does GenOverview offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)?

We could not locate a published DPA for GenOverview. That does not mean one is unavailable. Many vendors provide it on request or inside the account area rather than publishing it. Ask before you sign.

What a DPA has to cover

Is GenOverview a European company?

Yes. GenOverview is headquartered in Netherlands and, as far as we can establish, European-owned.

Is GenOverview subject to the US CLOUD Act?

Yes. US authorities can compel disclosure of data held by a US company or its subsidiaries, regardless of the country the servers sit in. EU hosting alone does not remove this, the question is who controls the data, not where the disk is.
