How we reached this
Polish legal entity: ExpertSender S.A., ul. Norwida 1, 80-280 Gdańsk, KRS 0000329885, NIP 5862237116, REGON 220775305, from the privacy policy read 2026-09-01. A Data Protection Officer is named (dpo@expertsender.com), which is more than most vendors this size publish. PARTIAL rather than better because the operational detail is absent: the policy says only that "all data resides in a tightly controlled, secure data center" without naming a country, and no sub-processor list was located. Schrems II risk MEDIUM on the vendor's own words: it states it commissions services from IT providers "whose seat is located outside the European Economic Area", relying on adequacy decisions, EU standard clauses or binding corporate rules, without naming them or saying what they process. sccInPlace is true on that same passage. Exposure UNKNOWN rather than NONE — the unnamed non-EEA providers could well be US ones, and guessing either way would be inventing a finding. No separate DPA document was located; the privacy policy addresses ExpertSender as controller of its own website data, not as processor for customers.
About ExpertSender
Automation Built Around a Product Catalogue
ExpertSender is aimed squarely at online retail rather than at general newsletter sending, and the feature list reflects that. The centre of the product is a customer profile assembled from browsing and purchase behaviour, with the messaging built on top of it.
What Is In the Platform
- Customer Profile 360 with real-time user tracking, feeding RFM analysis for recency, frequency and monetary segmentation
- Automated scenarios triggered by behaviour, including the cart and browse abandonment flows that carry most of the revenue in this category
- Product recommendation frames built from the catalogue feed
- Onsite personalisation: banners, pop-ups and forms served on your own site
- Omnichannel delivery across email, SMS and web push, with a drag-and-drop editor and a pre-send message checklist
- Preference and consent management, which matters more in this category than vendors usually admit: an e-commerce automation platform is where marketing consent actually gets recorded
Pricing Is Quote-Only
There is no published price list. Everything routes through a demo, which is normal at the enterprise end of this category but does put ExpertSender outside the range a solo builder or a small team can evaluate on a card. Budget for it the way you would budget for Symplify or Spotler rather than for Ecomail.
Polish, With the Hosting Left Unsaid
Published by ExpertSender S.A., ul. Norwida 1, 80-280 Gdańsk, KRS 0000329885, NIP 5862237116, with a named Data Protection Officer reachable at dpo@expertsender.com. Payments run through Tpay, a Polish processor, rather than through Stripe.
The company is unambiguously Polish and unambiguously takes GDPR seriously at the paperwork level. What is missing is the operational detail this site rates on. The privacy policy says only that "all data resides in a tightly controlled, secure data center" without naming a country, and it states that some IT service providers sit outside the EEA, relying on adequacy decisions, Standard Contractual Clauses or binding corporate rules. It does not say which providers, or what they touch.
That is why this listing reads PARTIAL with hosting UNKNOWN rather than something better. Nothing here suggests a problem; there is simply not enough published to rate it higher, and this directory does not fill gaps with assumption. If you are evaluating ExpertSender seriously, the hosting region and the sub-processor list are the two questions to put in writing before signing.
Where It Fits
Closest in scope to Spotler, Symplify and User.com among the European automation platforms, with a sharper e-commerce bias than any of them. Compare the field in marketing automation.

Martech moves fast. Vendors change hosting regions, get acquired, publish a new DPA or rewrite their pricing, and they rarely announce it. We check what we publish and date every compliance review, but some of what you see here will be out of date before we catch it.
