How we reached this

Czech legal entity: Ecomail.cz, s.r.o., IČO 02762943, DIČ CZ02762943, Prague 1, from the contact page read 2026-09-01. Ownership is EU_OWNED on that registration. Everything else here is PARTIAL and UNKNOWN because it was not published in the material reviewed: no hosting region is stated, no sub-processor list was located, and no DPA document was found at a public URL. Note that a Czech company running a Czech-market product is very likely hosting in Europe, but this site does not record likelihood as a finding. The Czech-language processing terms at ecomail.cz/zasady-zpracovani-osobnich-udaju/ are the place to look next, and this row should be revisited after reading them in full. Pricing verified from ecomail.cz/cenik/ on 2026-09-01: free to 200 emails/month, Profi from 150 Kč/month annual, prices excluding 21% VAT, three-month minimum on paid plans.

About Ecomail

Built for Czech E-commerce, Priced in Koruna

Ecomail is the kind of tool that explains why regional email platforms survive against the global ones. It does the ordinary things competently, and then does two things a Mailchimp or a Brevo will not: it prices in koruna, and it handles Seznam.cz.

The Tiers

  • Zdarma (free): up to 200 emails a month, with the drag-and-drop editor, AI subject generation, e-shop integrations and behavioural automation all included
  • Profi: from 150 Kč/month on annual billing, 250 Kč monthly. Unlimited sending, editor, AI subject and copy generation
  • Marketer+: from 200 Kč/month annual, 300 Kč monthly. Adds e-shop integrations, behaviour-based automation, web tracking, abandoned cart with dynamic content, Facebook Custom Audiences and Sklik
  • CDP: from 2,000 Kč/month annual. Adds RFM analysis, customer lifetime value, product analytics and smart product recommendations
  • Credits: for irregular sending, from 1,600 Kč for 5,000 emails, with no expiry

Prices scale with active contacts and exclude 21% VAT. Paid plans have a three-month minimum, which is unusual and worth noting, though you can pause once a year for up to six months. Non-profits get 50%. Billing works in CZK or EUR.

The Agency Account

Ecomail runs an explicit agency model: sub-accounts under one parent, preferential rates across the group, and a commission on each client you bring in. If you manage email for a portfolio of Czech or Slovak shops, that structure is worth more than any individual feature here.

Seznam.cz, Which Nobody Else Handles

Marketer+ and CDP include the ability to configure "topování na Seznam.cz". If that means nothing to you, this tool is not aimed at you. If you sell into the Czech market, Seznam is a mailbox provider with real share and its own reputation rules, and an international sender that treats the world as Gmail and Outlook will quietly underperform there.

Czech Company, Hosting Not Published

Published by Ecomail.cz, s.r.o., IČO 02762943, DIČ CZ02762943, Prague 1.

The company is straightforwardly Czech. What is not published in the material reviewed is where the platform runs and who the sub-processors are, which is why this reads PARTIAL with hosting UNKNOWN rather than something stronger. The Czech-language privacy terms are at ecomail.cz/zasady-zpracovani-osobnich-udaju and are the right place to start if hosting region is a requirement for you rather than a preference.

Where It Fits

The natural comparison is SmartEmailing in the same market, and MailerLite or Brevo if you are willing to give up the local advantages for a bigger ecosystem. See email marketing.

Pros & Cons

Priced in koruna from 150 Kč a month, so no FX exposure for Czech buyers
Handles Seznam.cz deliverability, which international senders generally ignore
Free tier includes automation and e-shop integrations, not just sending
Explicit agency model with sub-accounts and preferential rates
Credits never expire, which suits shops that send in bursts
Three-month minimum commitment on paid plans
No hosting region published, so EU processing cannot be confirmed from the vendor's text
No public sub-processor list or DPA document located
The CDP tier jumps to 2,000 Kč, a wide gap above Marketer+
Most documentation and the pricing page are Czech-first

Ecomail GDPR & data protection: common questions

Is Ecomail GDPR compliant?

Partly. Ecomail meets some of the requirements, with caveats worth reading before you commit. Ecomail is a European company headquartered in Czech Republic.

Where does Ecomail store data?

We could not locate a clear statement of where Ecomail hosts data. Ask the vendor directly, or check their privacy policy and sub-processor list before signing.

Does Ecomail offer a Data Processing Agreement (DPA)?

We could not locate a published DPA for Ecomail. That does not mean one is unavailable. Many vendors provide it on request or inside the account area rather than publishing it. Ask before you sign.

What a DPA has to cover

Is Ecomail a European company?

Yes. Ecomail is headquartered in Czech Republic and, as far as we can establish, European-owned.

Spotted something wrong?

Martech moves fast. Vendors change hosting regions, get acquired, publish a new DPA or rewrite their pricing, and they rarely announce it. We check what we publish and date every compliance review, but some of what you see here will be out of date before we catch it.

If you work at Ecomail and something on this page is wrong, tell us and we will fix it. Readers, same invitation. Pointing us at the page that proves it gets it changed fastest.
