For a buyer who wants exactly that narrower job done, and done at a fraction of the price, it is worth the look; for a buyer who needs the full CS platform surface, the small team size is a real constraint on how fast the roadmap can move.

Enterprise is $499/month with custom integrations and a dedicated success engineer. Extra integrations or users are $29/month each on the lower tiers, and annual prepayment gets a 20% discount with no setup or cancellation fees.

An Irish Company, Vague on Where Data Actually Sits

Akita Ventures Limited, a private limited company registered in Ireland with number 540357, registered office NDRC, The Digital Exchange Building, Crane Street, Dublin 8, VAT IE3278514PH. Governing law is the Republic of Ireland.

Akita publishes a full Data Processing Agreement at a public URL, referencing the EU model clauses (Decision 2010/87/EU) for transfers, which is more than many vendors this size manage. But the separate security page is specific about the infrastructure and vague about where it sits:

Akita and your data is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS has designed their data center and network architecture to meet the requirements of the most security-sensitive organizations... AWS maintains several certifications and adheres to standards including SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS Level 1.

No AWS region is named anywhere in the privacy policy, terms or security page, so while the certifications are real, a buyer can't confirm whether the data sits in Dublin, Frankfurt or Virginia from Akita's own documentation. Because AWS is a US company regardless of region, this carries US_CLOUD_ACT exposure the same way Vainu does.

Where It Fits

Against Gainsight: Akita is a small-team product at a fraction of the price and complexity, a reasonable fit for a company that has outgrown spreadsheets but doesn't need enterprise CS tooling yet. Against Velaris and Skalin, Akita is the AppExchange-native option and has the most explicit sub-processor law reference (the 2010/87/EU model clauses) of the three, offset by the least specific hosting-region claim.
