A Plain EU Hosting Claim, With Less Detail Than It Could Have
Skalin's privacy policy states without qualification: "Your personal data is hosted and processed in the European Union. No transfer of personal data is made to a country outside the European Union." That is a clean claim and, taken at face value, a stronger starting position than most vendors on this site who acknowledge US infrastructure somewhere in the stack.
The gap is specificity. No hosting provider or country is named beyond "European Union," there's no published sub-processor list, and the DPA referenced in the privacy policy ("please check our Data Processing Agreement") isn't linked to a public URL, only available by asking. For a company this size that's a normal state of affairs rather than a red flag, but it is short of what Vainu or Akita publish.
