A Contact Centre Built Around One Screen
Dixa's pitch is unifying every channel a customer might use, phone included, into a single agent view rather than bolting a phone system onto a helpdesk. That is also its main differentiator against Intercom: Dixa bundles Voice Communication as a native channel alongside email, chat, social and WhatsApp, rather than selling it as a separate add-on.
What Is In the Platform
- Team Hub: every conversation, every channel, one screen
- Workflow Automation: routing, automation and prioritisation rules
- Performance & QA: quality assurance scoring and performance insights
- Channels: phone, email, chat, social and WhatsApp, unified
- Mim AI Agent: resolves inquiries autonomously, billed separately per conversation
- Phone AI Co-Pilot and Advanced Insights on higher tiers
Pricing
Three published tiers: Growth at €89/agent/month, Ultimate at €139/agent/month, and Prime at €179/agent/month, all including the full channel set (phone, email, chat, social) natively rather than as a paid add-on. The Mim AI Agent is priced separately at roughly €0.35 per AI-resolved conversation. Terms of Service note a further wrinkle: fees carry a 5% compounding annual indexation applied automatically on each Order Form anniversary, which is worth budgeting for on a multi-year contract.
The Danish Entity, and a Documented Crack in the EU-Hosting Story
Operated by Dixa ApS, company registration number 36561009, Artillerivej 86, st. tv., 2300 Copenhagen S, Denmark. Governing law is Denmark, courts of Copenhagen, for any customer whose Order Form is with Dixa ApS (a separate Dixa Inc., Delaware, entity exists for some US-market contracts).
Dixa publishes more compliance documentation than most vendors in this directory: a standalone Data Processing Agreement, a named sub-processor list, a GDPR compliance page and a security/data page, all linked from a dedicated Legal Hub.
The hosting claim, though, is qualified in the same breath it's made. The privacy policy states:
The Dixa Services are hosted in the United States or EU. EU customers' databases will be hosted in our EU datacenter, however, regardless hereof please note that you may be transferring your Customer Data and Personal Data to the United States for storage and processing by our service providers.
So the EU-datacenter promise for EU customers is immediately qualified by a blanket acknowledgement that data may go to the US anyway via service providers. The Terms of Service confirm Standard Contractual Clauses are the safeguard for that transfer: "Dixa's non-EU/EEA service providers shall fulfil an approved adequacy mechanism, such as having executed the EU Commission approved standard contractual clauses."
Where It Fits
The direct comparison is Intercom itself, which Dixa markets against explicitly (Dixa vs Zendesk, vs Intercom, vs Freshdesk are all published comparison pages on Dixa's own site). Dixa's edge is native phone/voice bundled at every tier; Intercom's is a larger app ecosystem and more mature AI copilot tooling. See also Tidio in Live Chat & Chatbots.
